Make Your New Year’s Resolution a Success

It’s that time of year again when we make promises to ourselves to improve our health and “do better” in the New Year. With the best of intentions, we make commitments for 2012 and set personal goals.

“This year I will improve my eating habits.”

“I plan to go to the gym more often.”

“I will practice balance in all areas of my life.”

The challenge with New Year’s Resolutions is that we don’t always keep up with them and sometimes let our day-to-day routines get in the way. Edmonton Meals on Wheels wants to motivate you this January and help you reach your goals for a healthier lifestyle with our tasty, nutritious meal deals.

There are two delicious menu items on sale in January to help boost your eating habits. Not only are they good for you, but the ready-to-go convenience will give you more time to focus on other things – like getting to the gym one more time this week.

Thick and hearty, navy bean soup will provide you with a source of high quality protein and cholesterol-lowering fibre. This yummy single serving has only 2 grams of fat.

Breaded Fish with Tartar Sauce, Mashed Potatoes & Peas – on sale for $5
