Client Services Coordinator

Permanent full time weekdays, 8:00 am 4:00 pm

Edmonton Meals on Wheels requires a Client Services Coordinator to help us achieve our mission by ensuring clients, volunteers and the general public receive the best service experience possible.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Expertly handle telephone or in-person inquiries for all services
  • Responds, investigates and solves client, volunteer or meal delivery problems as they arise
  • Accurately and quickly completes data entry and financial transactions
  • Schedules meal delivery and manages delivery routes as needed
  • Delivers meals in all areas of Greater Edmonton in all types of weather as needed
  • Cross trains to support all departments as needed

  • Excellent time management, attention to detail and organization.
  • Thoughtful, kind, compassionate; understands the challenges faced by the elderly and disabled persons.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and clear driver’s abstract
  • A reliable vehicle must be available at work each day
  • Clear criminal record including vulnerable sector search
  • Strong knowledge of the city or willingness to learn
  • Excellent English communication skills and telephone manner
  • Physically fit: Ability to stand for 4 hours, walk, climb stairs and lift/carry up to 30 pounds – in or outside in all weather
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Data Base Management,  MS Office, and  Google Maps
  • Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in a customer service oriented environment
