A Beautiful BBQ Bash

The community support we received at this year’s Big Wheels Deliver Meals event has proved once again that Edmonton is the best city to live in.

On Friday, June 8 local celebrities and community leaders joined forces with the owners of classic and classy cars to deliver meals to Meals on Wheels clients. After the meals were delivered, we all gathered for a street party barbeque on the 103 Avenue block in front of Meals on Wheels from 111 Street to 112 Street. This year’s fundraiser included more unique vehicles, more participation from local celebrities and leaders as well as more involvement from our neighbours in the community.

Our fundraiser was successful thanks to the efforts of our sponsors, volunteers, celebrities and the drivers who brought their beautiful cars. A special thank-you goes out to each and every one of you who took part in our event. We hope to see you all back here next year!
