Our Kitchen

Edmonton Meals on Wheels has been serving the community since 1969. We have been operating out of our own food production, volunteer and distribution centre since 1988. Our centre has the essence of hospitality blended with the key ingredients of food safety and quality controls. Stirred together with care and attention, our tasty home-cooked meals are nutritious, wholesome and safe.

Journeyman cooks create the menu using standardized recipes. Volunteers assist with the food preparation and packaging. Meals are taste tested and risk management controls are in place to assure quality and safety.
