We are super excited to announce that the Edmonton Strathcona Rotary Club is hosting an online 50/50 cash raffle in support of Edmonton Meals on Wheels! Seventy percent of the funds raised will go directly to supporting our subsidized meal program that so many low-income Edmontonians depend on.
Each winter we see a surge in the number of seniors who turn to us for help. The cold and snow add to their isolation. It’s nearly impossible for them to get to the grocery store in this weather, especially if they have a mobility device. It is essential that we raise additional funds to ensure that we can continue to use high quality ingredients in our meals while keeping them affordable for low-income seniors in need!
