If the need arises to self-isolate or the weather get colder how will you get affordable, healthy meals or groceries?
With the number of COVID-19 cases climbing, as are the concerns felt and expressed by vulnerable people, individuals who are immune compromised, experience a disability or otherwise may be at-risk. With the cooler weather, more and more people are staying at home. Venturing out can be risky.

“I was on Meals on Wheels for one year and it saved my life. The year prior I was suffering from terrible PTSD and severe anxiety. I was too terrified to go shopping or turn my oven on. I started getting meal deliveries seven times a week. The volunteers became friends. I learned to eat balanced meals. It just absolutely saved my life.”- Pam, a former Meals on Wheels client.
