We've teamed up with Delux Burger Bar and Atomic Improv's Donovan Workun for a tasty fundraiser! For the entire month of August, $1 from each Peppercorn Poutine Burger sold will go to Meals on Wheels. Grilled Certified Angus Patty, house made fries, cheese curds, peppercorn gravy, sautéed portabella mushrooms and garlic aioli are piled onto a brioche bun, making this one delicious burger. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards supporting our meal subsidy program and fuelling our meal delivery. This fundraiser is available at all three Delux Burger Bars. 

Our Grow a Row campaign is in full swing! If you’re a dedicated gardener who believes in giving back to the community, consider donating some of your extra produce to Edmonton Meals on Wheels. Grow a Row highlights the importance of fresh, healthy, and locally-grown food. Produce donations will be incorporated into our summer menu, allowing our clients to enjoy fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs on a daily basis. Edmonton Meals on Wheels is proud to announce our new Store to Door® volunteer based personalized grocery shopping, delivery and shelving program. This new program is designed for low-income Edmontonians who cannot shop for themselves. Volunteer Shoppers will be paired with a Store to Door® client and together, they will arrange shifts, shopping lists, etc. We are currently accepting new clients in this program.
