"I've had a pretty rough time the past 2 years. Seeing the appreciation from the people EMOW serves has helped recharge my soul. It's helped me realize that I can make a difference in the world." - Jay, volunteer

URGENT: Evening and weekend Kitchen Helper volunteers needed!

Evenings: 5:00PM -9:00PM

Saturday/Sunday: 11:00AM - 3:00 PM

Volunteers are the heart of our organization. You have spent a lifetime acquiring skills. Come share them!  If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out our Volunteer Application Form.

Thank you for considering a volunteer job at Edmonton Meals on Wheels.  As an essential service, we pride ourselves in being a healthy team working together in a safe environment.  When you join our team, you will join others who are committed to safely helping to protect the health of staff, volunteers and clients. The recent spike of COVID-19 infections can be worrisome, especially for our clients as they are generally high risk of catching COVID.  We must all continue to work together to flatten the curve.  As Mayor Don Iveson said:   “The city is asking residents to continue to be diligent and follow all public health guidelines, including good hand hygiene, adhering to gathering restrictions, maintaining physical distancing and wearing a face covering or mask.”

*EMOW thanks all interested applicants for their time and reserves the right to decline applicants which are deemed not a suitable fit.
