Wing Wednesday will be an exciting in-person opportunity for donors, volunteers, friends, and members of the business community to show their support, and enthusiasm for Edmonton Meals on Wheels. We will turn up the heat on our special VIP guests in a Hot Seat interview inspired by Sean Evans’ Hot Ones. They will answer some thought-provoking interview questions as they sample increasingly spicier wings and test their tolerance for heat. Who will survive the spice? You know what they say. If you can’t stand the heat…
Guests will enjoy flavourful appetizers balanced by a selection of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages from our cash bar.
Wing Wednesday will raise critical funds for the programs of Edmonton Meals on Wheels and create awareness about our work. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of Wing Wednesday, as we come together to support the life-changing work that happens every day at Edmonton Meals on Wheels.

Stantec has a passion for creating strong and vibrant communities, and they connect with communities and help strengthen them in meaningful ways.
Meals on Wheels is thankful for Stantec’s generosity. By making its third-floor social space available for Wing Wednesday, it is supporting Edmonton Meals on Wheels’ programs and the many Edmontonians that benefit from them.
The private preview of the new promotional and educational video about our organization will be a part of WING WEDNESDAY’S official program.
We will use this tool to help build relationships with new audiences. It will inform our stakeholders about the impact of our work in the community, while celebrating the contributions of our 1,200+ volunteers.
We thank Sorrell Financial for their generosity. Their vision played a pivotal role in making this video possible. Their vision will help frame our public engagement going forward.
